Scholarships and qualifications
Art scholarships are available to students enrolled at Carlton Oaks Elementary School, and in grades three through eight at time of application submission. Teachers in these grades will nominate students they feel would benefit from taking art classes. These students will show an interest in art and exhibit an elevated level of talent. Teachers will provide the nominated students with scholarship applications. Students may request nomination.
Students nominated will need to fill out the application form of this document and are responsible for submitting it to the Scholarship selection committee. An application without a parent (or guardian) signature is considered an incomplete application and will not be processed. A Selection Committee, set up by the Foundation, will determine which students receive scholarships. All applicants will be notified when their application is received and whether or not they were selected for a scholarship. Once selected, the Foundation will notify the art school and after the student registers for a class or camp, the Foundation will send payment to the art school.
